The author’s autistic son had such a remarkable response to homeopathy that she left her successful computer science career to study and promote homeopathy. Much more than the story of her son’s healing process, this is a very readable, excellent introduction to homeopathy for anyone. Homeopathy: Beyond Flat Earth Medicine, by Timothy Dooley, MD, ND. A very readable and short introductory book. It answers many questions that new homeopathy clients may have before a consultation. You can read the full first edition for FREE here. The Homeopathic Revolution by Dana Ullman, MPH. A sample chapter can be read on his website The Homeopathic Revolution, This book documents many famous people and celebrities who have used or been known to advocate homeopathy over the past 200 years. The following books are very helpful and popular among beginners learning how to use homeopathy for acute ailments and first aid conditions: Everybody’s Guide to Homeopathic Medicines by Stephen Cummings, MD and Dana Ullman, MPH. The Complete Handbook of Homeopathy, by Miranda Castro, FS HOM, CCH. Homeopathic Medicine At Home, Natural Remedies for Everyday Ailments and Minor Injuries by Maesimund B. Panos, MD. Autism and Special Needs Below are a few resources for anyone, especially parents considering homeopathic treatment for their child who has been diagnosed, or you suspect is, on the autistic spectrum. There are many treatment options out there to weigh and I am hoping this will help you in your research of classical homeopathy. Autism spectrum disorders are complex and these resources offer some clear descriptions of how homeopathy can help. As noted above, Impossible Cure: The Promise of Homeopathy, by Amy L.
